Serving Those Who Serve
On February 22, 2025, EPU team members laced up their sneakers, rolled up their sleeves, and joined forces with Operation Gratitude for a large-scale volunteer effort at Raleigh Studios in Los Angeles. The goal: assemble up to 10,000 care packages for the first responders who put everything on the line to keep our communities safe.
It was a morning full of action, unity, and heart—right in line with EPU’s mission to support those who serve, in every way we can.
An Army of Volunteers, One Purpose
Hosted at Studio 11, the event brought together hundreds of volunteers from across LA. From fire departments to military families, first responders to civilians—everyone showed up to give back.
Our EPU crew jumped in to help assemble care kits, organize supply stations, and make sure each package carried the warmth, gratitude, and respect our frontline heroes deserve.
Wilmer Valderrama Speaks on Service
As both a USO Global Ambassador and the founder of EPU, Wilmer Valderrama addressed the crowd with a powerful message about the meaning of unity and showing up for one another.
“Events like this remind us that gratitude is more than a feeling—it’s an action. It’s what brings us together and keeps us moving forward as one.”
After his remarks, Wilmer joined volunteers on the floor to pack care kits and personally connect with attendees, embodying the same spirit of service he spoke about.
Why It Matters
We didn’t host this event—but we were honored to be part of it. At EPU, our mission has always been rooted in community and purpose. Whether we’re supporting veterans, building spaces for youth, or standing shoulder-to-shoulder with those giving back, we believe in the power of showing up.
Every box packed that day was a reminder: gratitude can be hands-on, tangible, and deeply personal.
